I started out in construction work as a teenager, building trusses, and then worked for several Bay Area builders, gaining experience and learning the trade. Eventually, I began working for a well-respected construction company in Berkeley, where I remained employed for over 30 years as a master builder. I was project manager for multiple jobs and continued doing the hands-on fine craftsman work that I enjoy. Several of my projects have won NARI awards (National Association of the Remodeling Industry). I decided to start my own business, Boley Construction, in 2010. I am licensed and carry full liability and workers' compensation insurance on my employees.

Boley Construction specializes in residential remodeling and new construction. We take pride in excellent craftsmanship and in maintaining good relationships with our clients. We only take on two to three projects at a time, depending on the size, so that we're able to keep our standards high. We believe in clear, ongoing communication with our clients throughout the project. Most of the subcontractors and suppliers we use are local companies that we've done business with for years.

From 2012 through 2014, we had the opportunity to build a vacation home in Tahoe City for a wonderful family whom we had worked for in the past. As you'll see by the photos, this home is very contemporary and unique, with a lot of complex engineering and design elements, including a curved copper roof and window wall. Large curved structural beams had to be fabricated and were trucked in from Montana in order to form the structures. The copper pieces were fabricated to conform to the curve of the roof. The project includes a main house with courtyard separating it from two guest suites, each of which includes a fireplace and bathroom.

I am deeply committed to doing my very best for every client and hope that you will consider Boley Construction for your next project.

Thank you,
Vince Boley
